A: Leistung is an Argentinian company with 42 years of experience in the market. We have factories in Argentina, Brazil, and the United States, and we offer the Mexican market high-tech products at accessible prices, with full maintenance traceability. Our main differentiator lies in combining advanced technology with localized post-sales support, adapted to cultural, linguistic, and regional needs.

We manage commercial activities in the United States, Latin America, and Africa, reaching an average of 18 countries. Our structure is based on distributors in each market, supported directly by our factory in Argentina, which ensures production and export reliability.

Q: From a strategic perspective, what opportunities have you identified in Mexico?

A: Mexico represents a strategic and highly attractive market due to its scale and growth potential. The country offers the necessary volume to expand regionally. We are actively working to position our brand in Mexico, with the distinctive value of Latin American production.

We are in the early stages of growth in the country. Although we began operations in 2019, the pandemic limited our exports to Mexico for several years. Since then, we have increased our visibility through participation in three to four annual trade fairs and by expanding our presence in platforms such as Veraca and Catálogo Médico. Despite these advances, considering Mexico’s market size, we are only at the beginning of our expansion.

Q: What are the primary challenges you face when expanding into the Mexican market?

A: Regulatory challenges are the most significant, as they require time and patience. The absence of bilateral agreements between Mexico and Argentina or Brazil complicates entry into the public sector, particularly with institutions such as the IMSS. In contrast, our production in the United States offers a more direct path, given existing trade agreements.

Q: How has Argentine manufacturing been received by the Mexican market?

A: Argentine manufacturing is well regarded and has been warmly received in Mexico, especially in the private sector. We are focusing on this segment while positioning ourselves for an eventual participation in the public market, which is an uncertain process due to regulatory changes, the creation of new ministries, and adjustments to public procurement laws.

For us, Expo Medical is a key milestone that must be consistently attended year after year, as it enables us to align our strategy with market dynamics.
