Wesco Launches Managed Services Suite for Integrators, Customers

PITTSBURGH — Business-to-business distribution, logistics services and supply chain solutions provider Wesco International recently announced a new suite of managed services designed to “help organizations optimize technology assets, strengthen workplace safety programs and improve facility performance with data and expert support,” according to the company announcement.

Wesco will showcase the newly available service and technology offerings at ISC West 2026, taking place this week at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

“Customers are seeking ways to simplify complexity, gain intelligence and improve outcomes across their environments,” says Tara Dunning, vice president of converging technology for Wesco’s Communications & Security Solutions (CSS) business, in the company announcement. “We deliver these new services in collaboration with our integrator partners, allowing them to scale faster in support of end users.”

In an exclusive interview with Security Sales & Integration, Brad Stevens, vice president of IoT and platform sales, underscores collaboration as the primary goal.

“This is not to compete,” he says. “This is to complete our partners’ capabilities. We feel like we’ve got the best-in-breed tools out there around asset lifecycle management, facility management and safety. Wesco’s got over 1,000 resources in the technical realm that we want our integrator partners to leverage.”

What is Wesco’s Intelligent Asset Management?

Wesco’s Intelligent Asset Management “gives organizations complete visibility and control over their equipment and technology environments,” according to the company announcement. The offering “centralizes asset data, including model and serial details, location, warranty status and service requirements, to streamline lifecycle planning and reduce the total cost of ownership by up to 30%.”

The services also include a formal process for return merchandise authorization, preventative maintenance and refresh planning, along with full lifecycle support from deployment through decommissioning. With an integrated field application for iOS and Android devices, customers can easily scan equipment to track receipt, installation, repairs and issue reporting.

“Asset management improves performance and lowers the total cost of ownership for security infrastructure,” says Dunning. “For integrators and their customers, this has become paramount for refresh planning, budgeting, warranty administration, preventative maintenance and improving the overall lifecycle of equipment.”

Enhancing Compliance and Reducing Risk

Wesco’s Intelligent Safety Services combine certified field safety expertise with connected digital platforms to help organizations strengthen compliance and reduce safety risks. The offering includes support across confined space, fall protection, gas detection, powered industrial vehicles, hazard communications and safety inspections.

Through the Wesco Connected Safety Platform, customers gain automated compliance documentation, real-time visibility, predictive alerts, digital inspection management and the option to deploy on-site field safety professionals for ongoing program support.

Intelligent Facility Services: Improving Performance

As buildings incorporate more connected devices and IoT systems, Wesco’s Intelligent Facility Services help owners and operators simplify data collection and make informed decisions that enhance uptime, operational efficiency and occupant experiences.

The services include integrated facility optimization; rule, alarm and fault tuning; triage and remediation coordination; energy management analytics; and multi-site scalability support. Powered by the entroCIM platform, which aggregates data from IT, OT, systems, sensors and third-party software into a single system.

During the exclusive interview with SSI, Stevens expressed excitement about Wesco’s managed services suite and its rollout at ISC West.

“Managed services are kind of the glue that ties together all these disparate devices and the data,” he says. “You take all the operational expertise that all of us have — our customers, the integrators and Wesco — and tie that together.”

Wesco’s global services organization includes about 1,100 technical professionals in 30 countries, delivering “a comprehensive global services portfolio, including advisory services, data center services, installation enhancement services, project deployment services, managed services and supply chain solutions,” according to the company announcement.

These services and solutions “fill gaps in staffing and support enhanced productivity, mitigate risk and improve profitability,” the announcement says.

“As enterprise operations become more digitized, connected and complex, Wesco is investing and expanding its service capabilities globally to support integrators and end users of all sizes,” says Dirk Naylor, executive vice president and general manager for Wesco’s CSS business, in the company announcement.

“We are leveraging our scale and global footprint to uncover productivity gains and cost savings from converging technologies, software and services,” he says.
