Check Point Software Technologies, a leader in cybersecurity solutions, has announced the next step in its strategic partnership with Wiz, a cloud security platform, by delivering a fully integrated cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) and Cloud Network Security Solution.

Parallel integrations bring network and cloud-native app security to partners, customers

This news builds on Check Point and Wiz’s February partnership announcement, bringing the integration to general availability and assisting companies with cloud security challenges by delivering visibility, precision, and AI-powered prevention.

“Showcasing the epitome of Check Point’s open-garden approach in action, this collaboration sets a new benchmark for unified cloud security,” said Paul Barbosa, VP of cloud security at Check Point. “Together with Wiz, we are delivering a prevention-first model that secures organizations from code to cloud, with real-time visibility and risk-aware remediation, without compromising on security.”

The result of this collaboration is an integrated cloud native solution that enables enterprises to confront cloud security challenges with renewed confidence.

Real-time insights and actionable alerts reduce security exposure risks

Wiz’s parallel integration into Check Point Infinity Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) enables organizations to automate gateway-based remediation flows, transforming Wiz alerts into actions on the CloudGuard gateway, thereby reducing exposure times from hours to minutes.

Organizations gain real-time insights into understanding cloud risks, reduce false positives, and address issues at the gateway level until they’re fully patched. It enables customers to achieve the following:

  • Shift from remediation to prevention: Stopping threats before they cause damage.
  • Enhance visibility and accelerate response: Reducing the amount of time and resources a customer needs for remediation.
  • Protect against the unknown: Defending against zero-day attacks with AI-powered threat prevention.
  • Reduce configuration risks: Identifying and resolving issues at the gateway level for stronger defenses.

“This new capability gives customers visibility into CloudGuard gateway configurations directly in the Wiz platform,” said Oron Noah, VP of product extensibility and partnerships at Wiz. “By integrating third-party virtual firewall policies into our risk assessment tools, we’re helping teams understand their exposure and take action faster.”

Check Point and Wiz’s strategic partnership

The partnership between Check Point and Wiz dates back to February of this year, with the intention of delivering end-to-end security.

“This partnership between the parties was formalized in order to create a new security paradigm– combining Check Point’s cloud network security expertise with Wiz’s CNAPP leadership to deliver comprehensive protection across hybrid mesh environments,” said Nadav Zafrir, CEO at Check Point. “Together, we are transforming how organizations manage risk, enabling teams to collaborate with greater efficiency and control.”

The partnership between the two organizations aims to bridge the gap between cloud network security and CNAPP, with the effort coming to fruition in the newly debuted integrated CNAPP and Cloud Network Security Solution.

“Bringing together Wiz’s leading CNAPP technology and Check Point’s expertise in cloud network security enhances visibility and prioritizes risks more effectively,” said Assaf Rappaport, Co-Founder and CEO at Wiz. “Our partnership is aimed to ensure that companies can seamlessly protect their network and cloud environments with an integrated, industry-leading solution while continuing to democratize cloud security.”
