Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH) Announces Leadership Trans

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (CTSH, Financial) has announced a significant leadership transition within its financial team. On May 23, 2025, Robert Telesmanic, the current Senior Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer, notified the company of his plans to retire, effective July 1, 2025. In response, the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Alina Kerdman to succeed him in these roles, also effective July 1, 2025.

Mr. Telesmanic will continue to serve as a non-executive officer and special advisor to Cognizant until December 31, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. This strategic move is expected to maintain continuity and stability within the company’s financial operations.

Alina Kerdman, age 44, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She joined Cognizant in 2010 and has held various finance positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Assistant Global Controller, a position she has held since December 2023. Her previous roles include Vice President, Global Revenue Controller, and Head of External Reporting. Ms. Kerdman began her career at Ernst & Young LLP in 2001 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the New York University Stern School of Business. She is also an alumna of the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

In her new position, Ms. Kerdman will receive an annual target compensation of $1,200,000, which includes a base salary of $400,000, an annual cash incentive target of $200,000, and performance-based and time-based restricted stock units. These compensation elements are designed to align her interests with the company’s long-term goals.

There are no family relationships between Ms. Kerdman and any of Cognizant’s directors or executive officers, and no arrangements or understandings with any other person regarding her selection as an officer. Her appointment is a testament to her extensive experience and proven track record within the company.
